Thanks for this Nina!
It’s been really helpful! I’ve just done this and I’ve already noticed my laptop has become faster. I really did need my laptop cleaning out, but I was just unsure on how to do it, and super-nina came to the rescue!
I’ve bookmarked this page for farther uses.

Sophie :) I’m so glad it helped you out!
I think you should do all five steps every other month for super performance :D

I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don’t know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.

Hey Nina thanks for that. But when i cleaned up my memory it said “Are you sure you want to permanently delete those files?”

Just click OK, because you don’t really need those files. As I mentioned in the post above, none of your files will be harmed or deleted in any way. I’ve done this more than a thousand times, no harm was done.
The files that do get deleted during the cleanup are the temporary files, the ones that automatically become added when transferring or copying or even downloading data to and from your computer.
So don’t worry :)

Great Article,
I find that the best way to speed up a computer is by defragmenting it.
You can use the Windows Defrag Tool that can speed up your computer by miles, I recently ran it on my five year old Windows XP Machine and now it flys!
Saves you money as you don’t have to buy a new computer.

Although both tools are very helpful, I was aiming to help point out some great tools that are within the Windows OS itself, tools that many people never even knew about.
But I will surely add another post where I will mention many “other” helpful tools and software that can give the same outcome!
:)
