7 Wonders’ Photography Series: The Pyramids
May 19th in 7 Wonders Series, Photography, Showcase by Nina Krimly .The first of seven posts of the Seven Wonders’ Photography Series that features 40 wonderful photographs of The Great Pyramids of Giza, in Egypt.
The 3 Pyramids of Giza are the oldest of the Seven Wonders of The Ancient World, and the only ones to stay largely intact after all these years. It is believed that the Great Pyramid was built as a tomb for the Egyptian Pharaoh Khufu around 2560 BC. This Great Pyramid took over 20 years to build and it was the tallest man-made structure for almost 4,000 years!
There is so much that we can learn from the three Pyramids of Giza, and that is why we have decided to share this post with you. Below are 40 photographs of the Great Pyramids of Giza, taken by various photographers from all over the world. Photographers who truly excelled in showing us just how amazing these Pyramids really are.
